HOW TO PLAY

The 119th Street Tennis Courts (also known as the "Over the Tracks" Tennis Courts) are public courts within the NYC Parks & Recreation system. Anyone can play. Most courts are distributed on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Each player needs one of two things:
 - a current NYC Parks season tennis permit, or
- a pre-printed "single play" ticket from NYC Parks

About Us

The 119 Tennis Association (119TA)  is a user group of Riverside Park Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of Riverside Park.

119TA memberships dues, donations and tournament fees are used to hire gate staff during the 50 hours each week when NYC Parks does not provide staff. In addition, 119TA funds are used to purchase nets, windscreens, court equipment such as brooms, squeegees, etc.

The 119TA has about 90 members and raises over $7,000 each year to fulfill its mission. Members do not have playing privileges over non-members.

The 119TA is proud to be sponsored by
